Jim Fires Training

Our Commitment

Jim Fires Training is committed to providing an accessible online learning experience for all Florida firefighters. We work to ensure that our platform, courses, and materials are usable by people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Features

  • Keyboard navigable interface throughout the platform
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and UI elements
  • Descriptive labels on all form fields and buttons
  • Responsive design that works on mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Text that can be resized without loss of content or functionality

Known Limitations

Some AI-generated video content may not include captions at this time. We are actively working to add closed captions to all course videos. If you need a captioned version of any lesson, contact us and we will prioritize that content.

Contact Us
